Survey Description:Orange Tyrannosaurus rival

Client Comments:
　A tiny orange Tyranno, the child of a large Tyranno (or so I think). The theme of "carnivorous dinosaurs also engage in child-rearing behavior" is actually close to Dr. Harding's theme, which I admire! I'm really happy to be able to pursue the reproducibility!
Dr. Victor also told me that he wanted to know about the developmental stages of the little Tyranno, and we decided to investigate.

　Yo! Nice to meet you. I'm the Dean of Animal Behavior. I'm usually working on migratory bird migration routes, aerophysics, and how to cook a good frozen chicken. (What's that last one? I use it a lot in my experiments!)
　What I want to know is about pteranodons. They fly, they eat meat, and they're big. Let's say they're after my Navy burger. Well, they'd probably take me with them.
　If such a pteranodon were to look for a "snack" in the city, hit an airplane, or get hit by a motorcycle with a large booty, it would be in big trouble! To prevent that from happening, I need you guys to investigate.

Client Comments:

My request was, "How do the dinosaurs prepare food on Dinosaur Island?"
Everyone else is probably buying food and snacks at the supermarket or convenience store, but not the dinosaurs.
　My request may be difficult, but food information is essential for the survival of the dinosaurs. And is Dr. K., who claims to have brought the dinosaurs back to life, a "mad scientist" (as they say in the short video for imprementation purposes)? Once we know what steps he took for the dinosaurs, we can set the course for our next investigation.

Survey Description:The distance from the largest Tyrannosaurus to the largest Triceratops

Client Comments:
　As a famous scientist once said, the truth about dinosaurs lies in the fossils. However, if there is anything even more worth observing, it is living dinosaurs. He was well aware of that, too.
Summer is thought to most closely resemble the climate of the era when dinosaurs lived. In other words, it may be the season when dinosaurs are most active.
If their increased activity leads to conflicts among the dinosaurs and some of them are killed, we might drift further away from the truth about Dinosaur Island. If it looks like that might happen, we’ll have to take action.
We use "step counting" to measure distance on foot for safety reasons. Please watch out for the long dinosaur tails.
　Furthermore,Step-counting is a method for summer science projectsThese methods are easy to apply. After all, they’re the very methods researchers use in their fieldwork. Your summer research project is also a chance to show the world that you’re an inquisitive and capable researcher. If you put these methods to use, it will be the greatest reward for us as researchers.

Update: Thanks to everyone’s dedicated research, we’ve learned that the dinosaurs on this island are living more peacefully than we had anticipated. Combined with Dr. English’s study on dinosaur diets, these findings appear to be extremely valuable. Please continue your research.

　Some have horns, some have decorations, and some have feathers. There are so many different kinds of dinosaurs, aren't there?
I'd like to hear what you guys think, since you've actually seen those dinosaurs.
In this post, we'll be discussing the horns of Triceratops,Observation, Hypothesis, AnalysisI hope you will approach this from a research perspective.
(It might sound complicated, but I've made it simple for you.)
After all, you need to look at things from different angles to solve the mystery of the dinosaurs on Dinosaur Island.
I didn't know this, but it turns out Japan has summer research projects, too. "Observation, Hypothesis, Analysis"If you can do that, it'll be easier to tackle any topic! Also, I want to live up to the expectations of that researcher I met on the subway, as I mentioned before. I hear he’s even published a book. He seemed pretty laid-back, but he’s probably been through some incredible experiences. You really can’t ignore the power of chance. I’m counting on you.

The investigation revealed that Dr. K had hidden a small cryogenic canister inside the lab coat on Dinosaur Island. A special investigation team was assembled to retrieve it at night, and its contents wereDinosaur Embryo(Think of it as the contents of an egg.) It’s not hard to imagine that dinosaurs were brought back to life from these. The problem is that, according to the analysis results,Some of the embryos had "different" genetic characteristicsThat’s what I’ve learned. I haven’t been able to settle down since I heard the news. 　Once the images from your survey have been analyzed at the island's survey headquarters, they will be sent to Cyrus's computer.
　This may seem like a minor point, but research is, simply put, “the process of finding answers.” Strictly speaking, therefore, there is no “answer” at this point. That said, we do have research findings that appear to be the most promising. We have therefore communicated these findings to the field investigators as the “answer.” We appreciate your understanding.

　Your courageous actions and keen eye as investigators will provide us with extremely valuable data that cannot be captured by drone cameras or satellite images. There is no doubt that your efforts in the field will greatly advance our understanding of the migratory patterns and social behavior of the island's apex predators, and our understanding of the dinosaur revival and the mystery of Dr. K.
