Western District Folk Performing Arts, Fall Bon Odori, and Drone Show

Vibrant local performing arts from Yokosuka City’s West District (Nagai, Take, and Ogane). The venue will come alive with powerful taiko drum performances and spectacular dance routines. Please come and enjoy these warm and energetic performances unique to the region, which showcase the fruits of their daily practice.

The venue will also feature a food stall area to further amp up the festival atmosphere! You’ll find a wide array of delicious street food, including yakisoba with its irresistible aroma of savory sauce and juicy frankfurters. Plus, the “Soleil Festival” will be held, where you can enjoy classic festival games like shooting galleries! The excitement will keep everyone—from kids to adults—on the edge of their seats.

As the sun begins to set, the “Fall Bon Odori” that everyone has been looking forward to will kick off! Let’s all dance together—adults and children alike—around the stage. Walk-ins are more than welcome.

And to cap off the evening, we’ll be hosting a “drone show” to light up the night sky! As many as 300 drones will take to the night sky over Yokosuka, creating a magical display of light and sound. This light show against the clear autumn sky is a must-see.
