[Saturday, June 20] Regarding the Felling of Camellia Trees Prone to Dangerous Pests Such as the Japanese Camellia Moth

Camellia caterpillars have been found on the camellia trees in the park.
We exterminated the chadokuga moths that had appeared and cleaned the area around the infestation site.
To prevent future occurrences, we have cut down the camellia trees near the garden paths used by our guests.

Although it is a tree that produces beautiful flowers in the winter,
Many people use the park, and children in particular tend to wander all over the park,
Since there is a possibility that you might touch a pest without realizing it,
We will also be cutting down trees in areas off the park paths in due course.
