2025 Yokosuka City Comprehensive Disaster Drill

Update : November 26, 2025

Yokosuka City and public institutions are working together to improve disaster preparedness by conducting actual drills in cooperation with disaster prevention-related organizations and partner businesses. In addition, the Yokosuka City Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill, which is held once every two years, will be held for the purpose of raising citizens' awareness and promoting their understanding of disaster prevention through the exhibition and hands-on experience venue by disaster prevention-related organizations and partner businesses.

For the first time in the Yokosuka City Comprehensive Disaster Management Drill, the Yokosuka City Fire Department Central Advanced Rescue Team (SR) and the Yokosuka City Fire Brigade Landslide Task Force (LTF) will work together to conduct a rescue drill for victims from landslides and collapsed buildings.

This is an opportunity for visitors to see training that they would not normally be able to see, and to gain the knowledge and experience necessary in the event of a disaster.
