The oldest Soleil staff member, Tsutomu Suzuki (75)

Tsutomu Suzuki is the oldest maintenance staff member working at Soleil Hill. Also known as "Ben-chan," he will turn 76 this year.
We asked Ben-chan* what she liked about working at Soleil.

(BEN-chan★) "The people I work with really take good care of me. I'm going to be 76 years old this year, and everyone follows me around like this, so it's a very comfortable place to work. We laugh and enjoy each other's company every day.

The Soleil Nagai Base is a converted greenhouse that provides community interaction, historical information, plant introductions, and events for the enjoyment of its many visitors. We also asked Ms. Ishii, a concierge at the Nagai Base, what she liked about working at Soleil!

(Mr. Naohiro Ishii) "Soleil is a park with a sense of freedom, wide open skies, and surrounded by nature, where we can propose ways for each visitor to enjoy themselves. There are so many opportunities to help everyone enjoy themselves to the fullest, to decorate with flowers, and to be involved with plants, that I find it challenging and enjoyable to work here."
